VDACS - Seeking TWO Project Managers with sr level Agile and Waterfall methodology experience
Duration: 6 months w/poss extention.
100% Remote. Must pick up equipment IN PERSON
Rate: $65/hr c2c
Required:
Experience managing software development projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. PMP desired (not required) - experience as solid PM w/required tools/background is what matters most.
Experience managing projects in a technical environment, particularly in an information systems or software development environment.
Experience managing vendor and contractor resources in coordination with internal staff resources.
Knowledge of and ability to apply one or more formal project management disciplines such as the PMP Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Project + framework, PRINCE2 methodologies, or other industry recognized project management framework.
Capable of producing well-documented project plans, risk management plans, change management plans, work breakdown structures, budgets, and project status reports.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to include the ability to clearly communicate project status and planning concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. The demonstrated ability to effectively interact with, and provide customer service to, all levels of the organization, customers and partners.
Preferred:
Certification in a formal project management disciplines such as the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Project + framework, PRINCE2 methodologies, or other industry recognized project management framework.
Certification managing an agile project management approach such as Scrum.
