Kitchen opening at an Italian Restaurant in Richmond's Northside, Enoteca Sogno. This role is a great opportunity to work at a busy, independent restaurant. Responsibilities include: assist in preparation of food items prior to dinner service and assist the head chef in expediting and set up for dishes during busy dinner service. Must have at least 2 years experience in a restaurant kitchen with knowledge of food, basic cooking techniques, including knife skills and ability to complete prep and plate food. Contribute to kitchen clean up after the shift. A strong candidate will have a passion for using seasonal ingredients and interest in Italian food with the desire to gain an in depth knowledge of authentic Italian preparations.
Shifts include dinner 4 nights/week, Wednesday-Saturday beginning at 2:30pm and typically over around 9:30pm. There's opportunity to add a 5th night on occasion for special events. No early mornings and no late night hours. This position pays $18-$21/hour, based on experience. Must provide resume and contact information.
