We are currently recruiting skilled caregivers for a spinal cord injury patient who is a 75 years young, former athlete and musician. Ideally, we love retired RNs, LPNs or CNAs, however, we are willing to train the right person with a positive attitude. The position is strictly part-time with the following hours: Mon.-Fri. evenings 6-10 pm. The other shifts available are Sat. and Sun. evenings hours 7-10 p.m., with the flexibility to fill in for others on the team. We are looking for two people to add to our existing team. Since we run two shifts day and evening 7 days per week, we always need subs to fill in for those who are out on vacation or sick leave.
Preferably we need experienced people who have worked with a spinal cord injury, with knowledge of cleaning indwelling catheters, bowel care program, nutrition, bathing and housekeeping.doing all that he cannot do himself. He has limited mobility from a power chair, and also uses a portable lift to get in and out of bed. Our hourly wages are fair and well within the current market. This is a GREAT part-time job for the right people who enjoy giving CARE and making him the patient. Someone who is interested in making a difference in someone else's life, and not squabbling about what the others do or don't do. Someone who has a very positive upbeat attitude only need to respond.
