We are looking to hire one, possibly two techs to perform stormwater inspections, maintenance and activation work. Our company is based out of Midlothian, VA.
Weekdays only with an occasional overnight trip if workload requires. Per diem is included on overnight work.
You will need a valid driver license and positive driving record. Transportation to and from work.
Ability to do the following:
Drive a pickup truck & a single axle or double axel trailer.
Pick up and move up to 75lbs.
Stand, squat, sit for extended periods of time.
Fit enough to work for long periods of time outdoors.
Work in hot & cold temperatures.
Use of smartphone to complete reports and communication.
Go up and down steps in Manhole systems to document stormwater structures.
Get along with others as we spend a good amount of time watching the windshield.
Complete repetitive task such as building filter materials for stormwater systems. Very simple but boring.
You must not be afraid of confined spaces, dirt, bugs and trash.
Must speak English as we communicate with owners/contractors of our ETA and specifics regarding what we are completing.
Typical start time is 6AM and end time varies based on where we work that given day. An example would be start at 6AM, work in Norfolk and end time is when we would get back, typically around 4-7PM. Some days are long, but we also have shorter local days with a later start time.
All training would be provided on the job. No experience is necessary, but you will need to be able to learn the products and have a good work ethic.
