PeopleShare is hiring for Production/Assembly Workers in Sandston, VA. If you have prior warehouse experience working on assembly lines, picking or packing materials, or looking for a role that will keep you busy with room to grow, this is the role for you!
Shift: Monday - Friday; 6:00AM - 12:30PM OR 12:30PM - 7:00PM (decided upon hiring decision)
Pay: $13/hr. (paid weekly)
Production/Assembly Job Description:
Inspect and package finished products into boxes or containers
Label and code products correctly, ensuring the accurate shipment of orders.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Ensure products are packed securely to prevent damage during transportation.
Conduct quality checks on packed products to ensure they meet the company's standards for safety and quality.
Report any defective or damaged items to the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a packing, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Basic math skills for counting and labeling products.
