Job Description:
As a Property Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on properties between tenant moves. This includes general maintenance, repairs, and ensuring each unit is ready for new tenants as quickly as possible. If you have experience in maintenance, repairs, and property turnovers, we want to hear from you! Winterizing, fire alarm checks, gutter cleaning.
Key Responsibilities:
-Winterizing, fire alarm checks, gutter cleaning.
-Perform necessary repairs, touch-ups, and maintenance tasks on properties between tenant moves.
-Handle plumbing, electrical, and general repairs as needed (minor plumbing, light fixtures, etc.).
-Paint and patch walls, replace or repair flooring, and address any cosmetic issues to ensure the property is move-in ready.
-Ensure appliances are in working order and perform necessary replacements or repairs.
-Communicate with the property management team to coordinate work timelines.
-Complete work orders and keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance completed.
-Assist with general upkeep and preventive maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in general maintenance, repairs, or property turnover work.
-Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
-Ability to troubleshoot and repair various issues efficiently.
-Familiarity with painting, drywall, flooring, and appliance repairs.
-Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
-Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
-Ability to lift and move heavy items as necessary.
-Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Previous experience working with property management companies or in property maintenance.
-Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to follow them on the job.
