Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work

Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues

Conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reports.

Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products and prioritize workload

Assist in proposal development, as requested

Develop contract deliverables using the following tools: word processing, spreadsheet, presentation creation tools, internet research tools

Actively expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with clients

Bachelor's degree required

Active U.S. Secret clearance or higher

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Ability to travel 50-70%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients/sectors you serve

2+ years of human capital consulting or sector experience

Preferred:

1+ year of experience in management consulting

  • Summary This position is located in the Office of Personnel Security and Suitability (PSS), Security Infrastructure Directorate (SI). You will be responsible for providing advice and support to management personnel on a range of personnel security matters, and coordinating shared efforts with various outside agencies and organizations and other internal and external bureaus, divisions, and offices. Responsibilities Establishes working relationships with other agencies and ensuring the integration of Division program operations and activities with the overall Office functions, policies, plans, schedules, and budgets. There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-15 position. In addition, applicant\'s experience must also demonstrate that the candidate possesses the following qualities: Ability to assign, review, and supervise the work of others; Objectivity and fairness in judging people on their ability, and situations on the facts and circumstances; Ability to adjust to change, work pressures, or difficult situations without undue stress; Willingness to consider new ideas or divergent points of view; and Capacity to \"see the job through.\" Education Education requirements do not apply to this vacancy announcement.
