Description Your talents will be used to prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, build budgets and forecasts, prepare audits, and handle internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner
Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required
Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations Requirements - The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
Ability to meet deadlines
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Experience with ERP systems
Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Construction Projects experience preferred
Adeptness in Manufacturing Cost Accounting
Project accounting experience preferred
Project Cost experience
Global Manufacturing experience desired
Deep understanding of Project Budgets
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Strong time management skills preferred
Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
