This growth strategy will include pursuing new initiatives as well as driving on-contract growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of successfully closing business on large and strategic opportunities, and an ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger GDIT Federal Civilian Division. A demonstrated ability to cultivate customer relationships and deliver on results.REQUIREMENTS
Collaborate with GDIT senior growth and delivery executives to develop, execute, and refine account growth strategy, in alignment with GDIT’s overall strategic plans
Develop and maintain high quality relationships with customers and partners, including next generation technology vendors.
Engage with these customers, partners, and other relevant stakeholders to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
Shape opportunities and our position throughout the opportunity life cycle.
Execute call plans to collect information about opportunities; in collaboration with technical staff, proposes and tests potential solutions; and qualifies opportunities
Prepare for and present opportunities for bid decisions and pipeline reviews
Lead multi-disciplinary project team ensuring all contract requirements are satisfied. Ensure customer expectations are met, including quality assurance in products and services, cost control, timeliness and business relations.
The program director will oversee the delivery of program requirements including financial reviews, customer briefings, contract deliverables, staffing, and subcontractor management. Provides overall task order program management.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with client and stakeholders, manage client and stakeholder expectations, resolve issues, and determine and implement appropriate course of action. Identifies and leads continuous service improvement efforts to improve the user experience, decrease cuts, add innovation and increase customer satisfaction.
Sit on-site with the customer in the National Capital Region (Sterling, Arlington, Springfield, DC)
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor’s Degree
10+ years of hands-on experience in Business Development, program operations or similar experience in DoD/Department of State space.
Experience leading a large teams
Extensive background developing business focused on Operations, Tactical Communications, Electronic Countermeasures, Cyber, and/or AI solutions, and DoS mission focused program support offerings
Demonstrated ability to grow and win business
Knowledge of program management tools and techniques; program and project planning, tracking and reporting.
Excellent problem- solving and communication skills are required.
10+ years of project management experience, supporting and driving continuous improvement
