We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Safety Manager to join our team in Sterling, VA  as a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all employees and contractors.Develop and enforce health and safety policies and procedures to establish a culture of safetyDesign and implement effective safety programs, safety plans, and job hazard analyses (JHA)Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend solutionsLead safety meetings and training sessions to educate employees on safety practices and OSHA regulationsMonitor safety compliance and report safety issues and progress to upper managementInvestigate accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrenceCollaborate with department heads and project managers to integrate safety protocols into all aspects of operationsMaintain accurate safety records, logs, and documentation as required by company policy and regulatory agenciesOversee the safety performance of subcontractors and contractors on-siteStay current with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices, updating company policies accordingly
