Director/Vice President, Value Engineering

The Role:  We are seeking a Director/VP of Value Engineering to lead our value-based engagement strategy, ensuring customers realize the full potential of our platform. This is a high-impact, strategic leadership role at the intersection of sales, product, marketing, and customer success.  As Director/VP of Value Engineering, you will be responsible for articulating and quantifying the business impact of Strategy’s solutions. You will work closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to develop value-driven sales strategies, build compelling business cases, and drive customer adoption and expansion.  In-Office Position: At Strategy, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are in-office days with Fridays as work-from-home. Your Focus: Customer Value Strategy & Execution Own the end-to-end customer value journey, including initial engagement, adoption, expansion, and renewal. Develop and refine value engineering methodologies to help prospects and customers understand the strategic impact of Strategy’s solutions. Support Sales in crafting and presenting ROI-driven business cases to help close deals and expand customer relationships. Define the sales process from the first call to closing the deal. Sales Enablement & Go-to-Market Alignment Design, launch, and scale value-based sales plays to drive consistency in how Strategy’s solutions are positioned across industries and segments. Build and maintain a structured library of value-selling assets, including case studies, ROI models, industry benchmarks, and business impact reports. Train and enable the sales team on value-based selling methodologies, equipping them with the tools to lead high-impact customer conversations. Align closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure consistent messaging and a seamless customer journey. Business Planning & Revenue Growth Strategy Spearhead the development of regional business plans, working with sales leaders to define go-to-market strategies and execution frameworks. Identify and prioritize opportunities for new customer acquisition and account expansion, leveraging data-driven insights to guide sales efforts. Define and track key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of value engineering initiatives in driving revenue growth. New Logo Acquisition & Account Break-in Strategy Develop a portfolio of solutions tailored for new customer acquisition, ensuring sales teams have multiple value-driven entry points. Partner with the new logo team to refine the account-based sales strategy, ensuring a structured and repeatable approach to acquiring new customers. Capture and drive action items post-strategy sessions, ensuring alignment and execution on key account pursuits. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration Rally internal teams around value-driven selling, ensuring a customer-centric mindset across all go-to-market functions.
