We are looking for a Senior Consultant with Security experience to join our ISD (Industry Solutions Delivery) team. As a Senior Consultant, you will work with our enterprise customer to assess, envision, plan, design and implement security and compliance capabilities and controls which use Microsoft products and industry cybersecurity practices. Participates in project planning and develops project documents by identifying the risks and dependencies. Communicates the business value of planned solutions to customers/ partners. Identifies technical and business risks in programs and proposes mitigations. Assists project managers/architects in preparing for steering committee (e.g., developing artifacts). Manages their schedule and communicates with project Leads. Generates and delivers Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
Implements solutions and provides oversight and leadership on workstreams across domains while adhering to Industry Solutions processes. Manages escalations, analyzes situations, and coordinates appropriate resources to resolve issues by following delivery practices, considering cost implications, and engaging in conversations with internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct security assessments and audits of Azure environments to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and compliance gaps.
Evaluate existing security controls and provide recommendations for improvement.
Design and implement secure Azure architectures, including network security, identity and access management, data protection, and encryption strategies.
Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop and document Azure security policies, procedures, and guidelines specific to Azure cloud environments.
Educate stakeholders on security best practices and ensure compliance with policies.
Configure and manage Azure Sentinel to detect and respond to security incidents.
Develop incident response plans and participate in incident investigations and remediation.
QualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business
OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
5+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business.
Technical certifications based on domain/service line (e.g., Security).
Delivery Management certification (e.g., Scrum, Agile, Change Management, Project Management).
3+ years’ work experience in one or more of the following main areas of solution delivery:
Identity and Access Management Technologies (Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (AD) Security, AD Security, Privileged Access Management, etc.)
Security Operations (Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender Suite of Products, etc.)
Securing the Platform (Azure Network, Azure Key Vault, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Certificate Services)
Identity and access management automation
Key vault secrets, keys, and certs management automation
Security monitoring automation (creating workbooks, playbooks, custom analytics rules)
Policy enforcement automation (EPAC)
Ability to create custom automation scripts to automate various azure security related tasks.
Capability with script development (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
Ability to work across on-prem Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments.
Ability to obtain one of the following Certifications within six months of being in role: AZ-500, AZ-104, SC-200.
Technology Consulting IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,400 - $184,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,000 - $194,400 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
