The Private Equity Practice Lead will play a pivotal role in building, developing and managing Acumatica’s Private Equity Practice. This position will focus on strengthening relationships with private equity (PE) firms and their portfolio companies, promoting Acumatica’s ERP solutions that cater to the specific challenges and growth goals of PE-backed businesses. The overall aim is to drive incremental software sales for Acumatica and our partners.This role seeks a self-starter and business builder, with a keen focus on driving growth, solving problems, and advancing portfolio value creation. The goal is not just to sell software but to become a trusted partner in helping PE firms and their portfolio companies scale efficiently and effectively.Responsibilities:Strategic Relationship Management: Recruit, develop, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with private equity firms and their portfolio companies.Solution Promotion: Work closely with internal teams to promote tailored Acumatica ERP solutions, positioning them as key drivers of business growth for PE-backed companies.Business Development: Plan, organize, and participate in relevant industry events, conferences, and webinars to build Acumatica’s brand presence, engage with potential clients, and generate new business leads.Internal Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, sales, marketing, and implementation) to customize and deliver ERP solutions that meet the specific challenges of private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
