We are looking for a driven and curious Senior Wastewater Technologist in the Northwest Region.As part of our team, you’ll engage as a subject matter expert in wastewater treatment technologies. You’ll leverage your expertise in process, pilot scale evaluations, treatment technologies, and applicable regulatory frameworks to collaborate with our team to strategize and deliver meaningful solutions for wastewater treatment project challenges locally, nationally, and across the globe. You’ll also engage in water/wastewater operations support, business development, facility planning, mentorship, and leadership roles as part of our local, regional, and national client engagement, technical solutions, and marketing and sales teams.At Jacobs, we’re partnering across the globe to create the best project outcomes by maximizing the design, digital technology, and support capabilities of our global delivery teammates. Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Environmental) Professional Engineer license (P.E.) A minimum of 20 years of progressive process engineering, environmental engineering, and experience with wastewater and/or industrial treatment, including process planning, evaluations, piloting, and modeling Proven experience working on wastewater treatment projects Experience with optimization and troubleshooting at water/wastewater treatment plants Familiarity with State and Federal government regulatory frameworks related to wastewater treatmentIdeally, you’ll also have: PhD in Engineering (Civil or Environmental) Professional Engineering license in Western United States (e.g. California, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Alaska, etc.) A strong network with local municipalities or other water/wastewater clientsJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. POSITION SUMMARY TRC is seeking an experienced Senior Safety Consultant in the Pacific Northwest to report to our Seattle, Issaquah or Woodinville, WA offices. Hybrid options are available for WA and OR residents. The position requires a strong technical safety service background, project management skills and experience, a solid reputation of building and maintaining key client relationships and a strong interest in business development. The position will focus on providing health - safety compliance consulting and helping clients to improve their performance to their applicable health and safety goals and objectives. This position will support our national platform to deliver Safety Compliance Programs - Performance Improvement Services. Responsibilities Health - safety risk identification and evaluation. Health - safety compliance audits to evaluate applicability and conformance with applicable state requirements. Health - safety management system design, development and implementation to specific standards, such as ISO 45001, OSHA Safety - Health Management System, etc. Development and implementation of written health - safety programs (e.g., hazard communication, lockout tagout, confined space, working from heights, hazardous materials storage, hot work, machine guarding, etc.). Develop and support safety training program content. Perform project management, oversight and coordination. Client relationship management and growth. Prepare client deliverables.
