Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is recruiting a line cook for a reputable childcare facility. Pay: $18.00/HR
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:30pm
Position Type: Temporary but could be long-term!
Location: Bellingham, WA
Job Duties & Responsibilities may include:
-Prep and Cook meals following food health and safety standards
-Meet CACFP meal pattern requirements
-Able to offer substitutes for children with food allergies
-Sanitizing and cleaning all work areas
-Monitor stock and place weekly orders for food supplies
-Develop menus that meet USDA and YUSA HEPA requirements
-Attends job related training classes and workshops
-Lift up to 50lbs as needed
Qualifications:
-Must be 18 years of age or older
-Must have experience and knowledge of food service for large groups of people
-Must have knowledge of children, general cooking techniques, and basic nutrition
-Emotional, social, and physical capabilities to work with children and families
-Able to work in a fast-paced environment
-Self-motivated and self-directed
-Current CPR (Adult, Infant, & Child) and First aid, AED certifications (or willing to obtain it)
-Must have a negative TB test within the last 12 months, MMR vaccine records, and a food handlers' card
-Must be willing to get HIV/Bloodborne Pathogen training
-Must be able to pass a DCYF background check
