In this entry-level food service position, you will help wash dishes and keep kitchen areas clean. You’ll also assemble and deliver food to our residents so they can receive the nutrition they need to remain strong and healthy.
Job functions:
Wash dishes.
Perform detail cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment.
Prepare instant breakfast, beverages and fortified milk.
Deliver food carts to designated care units.

Qualifications:
A Washington Food Worker Card is required.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Three to six months of general kitchen work experience is preferred.
High school diploma/GED is preferred.
Skills and traits:
Have a positive working rapport with fellow staff members as well as patients and residents.
Be compassionate, have great communication skills and a pleasant, professional manner.
Have knowledge of kitchen equipment, including dishwasher, coffee maker, juice machine, food processor.
Comply with all facility policies and procedures.
Work schedule: Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Approximately 13 hours per week.
Compensation:
$16.75 to $20.33 per hour, DOE, plus prorated sick days, vacation time and holiday pay on select days.
