We, at Evolve Chocolate + Cafe are looking for experienced baristas to add to our team for the upcoming season. We are a high volume cafe located on the mezzanine of a bookstore currently open 7 days a week from 9am-5pm, however soon to be expanding our hours. At Evolve we offer scratch made pastries, savory breakfast and lunch utilizing as many local/regional ingredients possible and of course chocolate! We are looking for dynamic persons who love to be in a community environment, work with a small but exceptional team and appreciate great food and drink. Positions we are hiring for
Barista/Server, experience required, MAST certification + must be at least 21. Job responsibilities include. able to work in high volume situation, knowledge of manual espresso machine, we use Nuevo Simonelli. You will be preparing coffee drinks using tried and true recipes, offering thorough counter service, serving food and drink, preparing cocktails, stocking, knowledge of Square point of sale, enjoy working in a tight knit environment that is multi faceted. Must possess a sense of urgency, accuracy and dependability. Also, this is a position for a self motivated person.
Dishwasher, previous dish experience preferred. Must be 18. Must possess a sense of urgency, accuracy and dependability. Also, this is a position for a self motivated person. Part-time, weekends required.
