We are a busy scratch kitchen located above a bookstore in Fairhaven that is open 7 days a week until 7pm. We are in search of a couple of new team members to add to our team as we are continually getting busier & we have added 2 nights of dinner service.

The passionate cook position is about 32 hours a week and requires previous experience. The hours are dreamy, most often the days are Thursday - Sunday 9am-5pm with the ability to add a day for prep and not working the line. Check out the points of interest below about the position. We pay competitive hourly plus tips and depends on experience.

-Braising meats, roasting vegetables, prepping soups, making stocks, making hand pies, savory pastries and burritos are some of the daily tasks along with executing our static menu + specials.

-Want to work in a mature, experienced kitchen knowing that you are contributing to the day of so many because you are creating something delicious and sustaining.

-Important to want to work in more of a solo position supported by chef / fellow cook.

-Culinary degree? Great! Don't have a culinary degree, that's ok- you must come with the knowledge of kitchen etiquette.

-Over the age of 21, with WA food handlers card.

-Glowing references.

-The dishwasher position is part time, we have three rad humans who work super hard and need to add in one more person to lighten the load. All dishes are handwashed, no late nights and the view is amazing! Must be at least 18 years old and have daytime flexibility. Experience is preferred, but will train the right person. Must have a WA food handlers card. The days most likely would be Fridays & Saturdays 2pm-9pm, Sunday 2pm-8pm + the potential for a couple of other day time shifts.

the position requires someone to have motivation. Can stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50lbs. Must understand a sense of urgency and how to hustle & be dependable.
