The Filling Station is looking to hire a Part time line cook for our SunnyLand and location. We are open from 11am - 9pm and have an assortment of shifts available in 5 to 8 hour increments throughout the day. Specifically we are looking to fill some closing positions that are from 2 or 4pm to close (9-10pm). We operate seven days a week, so weekend availability is a plus.
We have a fast paced kitchen environment and work together as a team. Working well with other employees is a must! We are looking for someone that communicates well with both Front of house and Back of house staff and can stay cool under pressure. Applicants should be able to take direction well, execute tasks in a timely manner, have an eye for detail, and exhibit consistency in both their product and attendance. Applicants must be cooperative and willing to accept other kitchen and restaurant duties if necessary.
Duties may include but are not limited to
Cooking on Line, prepping food for next shift/day, dishes, stocking supplies, cleaning of kitchen area
Minimum 2 year of kitchen experience required. Must have a valid Washington State Food Handlers card. Serve Safe Certification is a plus.
Compensation
The Filling Station offers a competitive hourly wage is $17.28/hour (DOE). Employee discount, great tip pool (about $5.50/hour) and benefits (health, and dental) to Full Time employees.
