Family Care Network's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Department is hiring a full-time Clinical Support Specialist. This position provides technical support for Family Care Networks EMR (Centricity Practice Solutions 12) and its users, working directly within our recall team. This position manages patient recall requests from physicians, which includes reviewing patient charts to ensure medical care hasnt already been provided and entering information to generate a letter to the patient. This position also helps manage return reports from specialist offices, ensuring the clinical information is easily retrievable within patient's charts.

We are looking for a qualified, motivated individual with a passion for family medicine who can:

-Verify information and accurately enter and review patient data in the EMR

-Obtain data, reports, and information from the EMR application

-Adapt to process and procedure changes that may be needed to improve work flow

-Communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of staff, administration, and health care providers

-Provide excellent customer service to meet the needs of users in the event of system/application changes

-Thrive and grow in a learning environment

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

-Demonstrated knowledge of clinical and medical office practices; medical office experience preferred

-Proficiency using standard computer and office equipment, and a proven knowledge base of computer technology

-Good typing, keyboarding, and phone skills

-Ability to protect patient privacy and confidentiality

-Ability to establish lasting and effective employee relationships in a team environment

Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
