Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is hiring a Landscaping Technician for a local company in Ferndale. This is a long-term opportunity that offers career growth and skill-building. Pay: $22.00 per hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM4:00 PM or 5:00 PM; fall/winter hours may shift based on daylight.
Location: Ferndale, WA
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Mow, trim, and edge lawns, ensuring uniformity and neatness.
Plant and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation.
Prune vegetation to promote health and visual appeal
Apply fertilizers and chemicals safely per guidelines
Install mulch, gravel, and other landscape materials
Support landscape design changes and enhancements
Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment
Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and share progress updates
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of landscaping experience
Knowledge of landscaping techniques and equipment
Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
Detail-oriented with a good eye for design
Strong communication and customer service skills
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
