Birch Bay Resort is a 35-acre mobile/manufactured home and RV community with currently over 235 spaces being rented by tenants. We are seeking a Laborer to join our team to assist with general labor duties along with grounds keeping. We are also seeking a candidate who can do electrical, plumbing, heating and sewer repairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing manual labor tasks, completing tenant work and repair orders, painting, tear down of old mobile homes, maintaining the grounds, special maintenance projects, identify needed repairs, read electric meters, safety inspections, and maintain management equipment and tools in working order.
Work is indoor and outdoor, rain/snow or shine. The candidate will be working with other maintenance and grounds staff with lots of variety of work to be done each day. The ideal candidate will need to be physically fit, reliable, trustworthy, and adaptable. The candidate must also have a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities:
Follow instructions and direction from the Park Manager.
Ability to work on electrical, plumbing, heating, and sewer repairs.
Work safely and efficiently with lawn mowing equipment, tractors, and tools.
Lift and move heavy objects.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Ability to work well with co-workers and park tenants.
Perform various general maintenance tasks such as landscaping, cleaning, and repairs.
Assist in dealing with security issues.
Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, shoveling, and lifting.
Knowledge in the maintenance and repairs of equipment such as mowers, tractors, and repair equipment.
Follow safety regulations wearing protective gear when necessary.
Helping to create a quality living environment for park residents.

Sick Leave: After 90 days of service
Probationary Period: 90 days from date of hire
Salary: $25.00/hour
