Full-time position starting at $29.25 - $31.59/hr. (D.O.E) with COMPETITIVE BENEFITS INCLUDING:

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Program Supervisor II is responsible for the supervision of staff and resources and for promoting a healthy environment. The position supervises 24/7 Residential Service Coordinators, ensures compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements, and is responsible for the safety of all residents, staff, and visitors. The supervisor responds to all crisis situations at Francis Place in coordination with the Program Director.

JOB CONDITIONS:

This position requires the employee to work in an environment where there may be exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious material. Other exposures could include cleaning supplies, chemicals involved in pest control, paint and other materials used in building maintenance. Working conditions may include interruptions and interactions with angry persons.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

-BA in social services or related field OR 4 years relevant experience.

-1-year experience working in social services.

-Experience in supervising, leading and/or coordinating direct services staff on a daily basis.

-Experience working with homeless individuals.

-Work with diverse population including people with active mental health and substance use disorder issues.

-Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

-Must have an acceptable driving record per CCS’ driving policy (required to provide current full record-driving abstract).

-Support and uphold the mission, beliefs and values of Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services and a knowledge of and commitment to working within the Social Teaching of the Catholic Church.

-Support and contribute to a creative, collaborative and respectful environment that promotes teamwork.

-Demonstrates the necessary attitudes, knowledge and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in multi-cultural situations.

-Criminal History Background Checks are required prior to employment.
