We are looking for a high energy sales assistant to help us with sales out of our Bellingham office. This is an independent position, requiring in person work at the office. May require driving so a WDL is a must. Primary responsibilities are to schedule estimates with customers - first contact so a critical job - and confirm appointments. Coordinate estimates with estimator(s), including schedule, location, what the client would like estimated, and what type of estimate (residential, commercial, public works, etc.). Must be able to accurately enter information into calendar and pay particular attention to the routing for estimates to minimize drive time. When estimates are ready to send to client, will be responsible to send and then confirm receipt with a schedule for follow up calls to be handled as well. Track leads, sign-ups, and perform conversion metrics (flipping from estimate to contract) using a template. Must answer and transfer calls with a warm hand-off to other staff at various locations, must be able to take payments over the phone and check mail/perform filing. Will work with owners to update sales materials/develop new materials, and to maintain advertising/website, working with vendors. Professional appearance, phone skills, and ability to work under pressure while still clearly communicating situations to staff with respect to clients. Must exercise good judgement when handling clients or handing off to owners for assistance. Does not require experience with fencing sales/estimates - we will teach you - so it is a great starter job and has career growth for potential office manager position in the future depending on performance.
