Our Industrial Engineering contractors will focus on documenting time standards and processes to focus on production stability. This includes observing build processes and recommending process improvements through lean methodologies. Candidates will be engaging with all manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations and should be a self-starter as well as a collaborative team player.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a 'US Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. 'US Person' includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
Exposure and/or experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or production environment
Experience performing work observations and time studies.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Skilled in effective time management, communication, and organizational skills.
1 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles
Experience developing and deploying standard processes.
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
