Description We are seeking a Payroll Systems Consultant to join our team in Everett, Washington. In this role, you will support our team by providing expertise in payroll systems and processes. You will be instrumental in the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll operations in our tribal industry setting. Responsibilities: Mentor, support, and encourage the team in managing the full cycle payroll system. Oversee the processing of payroll for over 1000 employees, ensuring accurate and timely completion. Review and ensure the accuracy of payroll data imported from Time IPS to Munis Software. Assist in resolving complex payroll issues, including those related to tax exemptions and pay codes. Provide recommendations for effective utilization of resources to balance the workload. Assist in the reconciliation of old issues and ensure they are resolved before year-end. Conduct regular checks on the payroll input by employees to ensure accuracy. Develop and implement protocols for communication and setting boundaries within the payroll process. Assist in planning for tax-related tasks to avoid accumulation of work. Use your skills in Accounting Software Systems, Business Requirement Document, Consulting, Automated Payroll, Benefits Payroll, bi-Monthly Payroll, Full Cycle Payroll, Payroll, Payroll - Garnishments, Payroll - Over 500 Employees, Payroll Compliance detail oriented, Payroll Taxes, Process Bi-weekly Payroll, Year-end Payroll to improve our payroll system. Requirements Possession of a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, specifically as a Payroll Systems Consultant or related position. Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential. Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents effectively. Prior experience in Consulting roles, preferably within the payroll domain. Expertise in Automated Payroll systems and processes. Familiarity with Benefits Payroll, bi-Monthly Payroll, Full Cycle Payroll, and Year-end Payroll is required. Knowledge of Payroll - Garnishments and managing Payroll for over 500 Employees. Certified Payroll Compliance detail oriented or equivalent credential is preferred. Proficiency in Payroll Taxes and relevant legal regulations. Experience in processing Bi-weekly Payroll is crucial. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, a Master's degree is preferred. OR a combination of education and experiences equivalent to an associate\'s degree or higher in education Must submit transcripts at time of application in order to be considered for this position Additional Information Participation in the Direct Deposit/Electronic Fund Transfer within 30 days of employment is required.
