This position plays a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our Biomed test Equipment’s Radiation and Dosimetry systems.As a Systems Architect, you will be responsible for leading product design and development of complex electromechanical systems. You will serve as a key player in our design team, collaborating with various cross-functional groups such as Electrical Engineering, Product Support, Mechanical Engineering, Product/Program Management, Marketing, Product Safety/Compliance, and Technical Publications. Your work will directly impact the healthcare industry by improving the design of test equipment that is crucial for saving lives daily.In addition to leading the technical aspects of new product development within our R&D department, you will also participate in user and customer research to understand their evolving technology needs, contributing to the understanding of our customers' needs and challenges. You will play a crucial role in guiding new product ideas from conception to final product launch, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.If you possess a deep commitment to quality and a desire to improve lives through safer medical services, we would love to hear from you.Key Role and Responsibilities: Drive new product development from proof of concept through to mass manufacturing release. Influence executive leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to invest in new technology and products. Oversee system architecture and contribute to hardware technology road mapping Steer new product ideas from inception to final product launch, ensuring regulatory standards and industry best practices are met. Act as an industry subject matter expert, collaborating with external and internal teams. Interface with key OEM and other customers for customer research and product understanding. Integrate customer needs, industry knowledge, and business insights to create compelling technology and products. Conduct user and customer research to comprehend their needs and challenges. Perform comprehensive analysis and trade-off studies for complex systems to establish optimized product architecture. Create, manage, and maintain product requirements. Decompose product-level requirements into concrete design requirements across design verticals (e.g. ME, EE, FW, thermal, etc.) Develop strategic relationships with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and architecture. Provide hands-on technical expertise from concept development to production sign-off, driving solutions to problems quickly and efficiently. Drive business results, optimize overall business objectives, and foster an environment of collaboration and innovation.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field, or relevant industry experience. 12+ years of experience in hardware product development, with a track record of successfully shipping multiple electronics products. Experience with multiple full life-cycle product launches. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to thrive in ambiguity, independently converge technical issues, and align efforts across teams. Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time. Proven technical expertise in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and/or systems engineering. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience leading cross-functional hardware and technology teams throughout the product development cycle. Experience working with Product Development engineers, Product Managers, Researchers, and other hardware/software cross-functional teams. Experience working with external vendors and suppliers.Preferred Qualifications: MS/PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering. 15+ years of direct relevant experience. Experience with taking B2B hardware products to market Experience in development and deployment of electrical measurement products at scale. Deep experience in Biomedical/medical device technologies. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
