Find your future with us.Boeing is hiring for a Senior Avionics Integration Engineer to work with our team located in Everett, WA .Seeking an engineer with a breadth of experience to drive technical integration of designs and design documentation. Candidates should have a depth of knowledge in avionics functions, requirements management, safety analyses, development assurance, and/or certification processes. Works with internal customers to develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements on complex multi-tiered projects.

Leads analysis and translation of complex requirements into system architectures.

Learns applicable program-specific process in order to lead others, spot issues, evaluate performance.

Looks for connections to surrounding activities / deliverables and shares insight with others.

Oversees validation and verification of complex system designs to ensure that operational and functional requirements are met.

Conducts program independent reviews and reports results to program leadership.

Partners with manager, airplane program, and Electronic Systems Design Center engineers to actively participate in the development and execution of our plan.

Drives technical decision-making and engineering quality.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. ​Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, electrical/electronics, aerospace, computer science, mathematics, or physics

9+ years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): ​

Multiple years of experience managing requirements with DOORS

Experience with Requirements Management

Experience in systems engineering performing system architecture development, systems integration, and/or hardware/software design and analysis

Experience with functional Hazard Analysis (FHA's), FMEA's, Airplane Level Threats (Particular Risk Analyses), Fault Trees, and/or System Safety Assessments (SSA's)

Experience in Avionics equipment

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
