Goose Ridge Estate Winery is family-owned and estate-grown. Our innovative, forward-thinking brand prioritizes quality in every aspect of what we do. From planting the largest contiguous vineyard in Washington to launching a hard cider program and becoming the first winery in the state to have four tasting rooms, we are constantly pushing the boundaries. We’ve recently expanded into spirits with our new distillery, making us a dynamic, multi-faceted destination.
We are seeking a full-time Assistant Tasting Room Manager to join our Richland team. This role directly supports the Tasting Room Manager and General Manager by overseeing daily operations, enhancing the guest experience, and driving sales while fostering a collaborative and fun work environment. Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional hospitality and personalized tastings, ensuring each guest feels valued and leaves with a memorable experience.
Support the Tasting Room Manager in leading a motivated team to meet and exceed sales targets.
Drive membership growth for our wine and cider club by connecting with guests and creating unique selling opportunities.
Assist in the execution of in-house and offsite events, and proactively represent Goose Ridge at promotional activities.
Maintain seamless daily operations by managing staff scheduling, training, and team development.
Help with administrative tasks, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and tracking sales metrics.
Ensure the tasting room and outdoor areas are well-maintained and create an inviting environment for guests.
Qualifications:
Experience in wine, cider, spirits, or hospitality is preferred, but if you’re enthusiastic, people-focused, and sales-driven, we want to hear from you!
A passion for wine, cider, and spirits and a love for working with people.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Basic computer skills and comfort working with POS systems.
Must be 21+ and have a MAST Class 12 permit and Food Handler’s Card.
Must be able to lift 45 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
