The Opportunity.The Security Officer will implement the company’s security programs and procedures, as well as oversee access control and investigate security violations. The Job.The Security Officer will inspect and patrol premises regularly; investigate and report on security incidents, provide security related assistance to employees and company visitors, as well as administer badging and access requirements for restricted areas. The Security Officer will also interface with government and contracting customers regarding security and contract related issues. Lastly, the Security Officer will provide guidance and instruction to employees to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and assist other internal departments, as needed. Requirements· Critical thinking and analytical skills. · Able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines. · Able to prioritize tasks effectively · Flexible and adaptable to changes with the organization. · Strong interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with all levels of the organization. · Computer skills; Microsoft office · Effective team member · Demonstrated self-starter; detail oriented, motivated, and accountable. · Previous security services/solutions experience a plus. · Previous experience with controlled or classified items a plus.
