Position: Quality Assurance Technician
Pay: $20/hr
Location: Royal City, WA
Shifts Available:
- A Shift (9am–7:30pm): Alternates weekly (Sun–Tues / Sun–Wed)
- B Shift (9am–7:30pm): Alternates weekly (Wed–Sat / Thurs–Sat)
- C Shift (7pm–5:30am): Alternates weekly (Sun–Tues / Sun–Wed)
- D Shift (7pm–5:30am): Alternates weekly (Wed–Sat / Thurs–Sat)
Contract Term: 3 months
Tentative Start Date: ASAP
Overview: We’re looking for detail-oriented QA Technicians to join us for a summer project at a local cherry produce company. This position involves performing visual inspections, record product data (size, color, defects), using tools, completing checklists, swabbing, and pre-op line inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check products for mold, damage, or foreign objects
- Keep accurate quality records
- Operate lab and quality tools
- Perform inspections, swab tests, and fill out forms
Required Skills:
- Experience in quality assurance/control
- Skilled in inspecting, testing, and sampling
- Clear communicator with strong documentation habits
Additional Qualifications:
- Know how to follow lab/testing procedures
- Label and prepare lab samples
- Help with ATP and allergen swab tests
- Understand tracking and recordkeeping systems
- Good with spreadsheets or QA software
- Able to spot and report quality issues
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and stay on your feet
- Dependable and always on time
