DescriptionHave you ever wanted to be part of a team that is building industry changing technology? Amazon’s Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.Key job responsibilitiesKuiper Customer Engagement Systems Principal Product Manager will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing the suite of products and services for Kuiper customers, globally.In this role, you will define and be responsible for success of our product portfolio for Kuiper. You will work directly with customers, engineering teams, and operational stakeholders to define Kuiper service offerings via expertly crafted working backwards, business requirements documents which can easily be translated into product and engineering deliverables.You will work in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and must be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. The candidate must have clear business judgment, dive deep into data, have core writing skills and be comfortable leading executive-level reviews.This role is located in Redmond, WA and candidate will be required to be onsite. No location flexibility.Export Control Requirement:Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.A day in the lifeYou will be part of a startup team that will tackle a broad set of greenfield problems and define the suite of products for Kuiper customers. You will work with Engineering and Business Stakeholders on defining the roadmap for the suite of products. You will own solving this for multiple customer segments and building software that is flexible for many different customers and countries. You will create detailed product requirements documents based on an intimate knowledge of the specific customer verticals including use case prioritization, feature definition and product roadmap. You will set the customer product strategy and make appropriate high-judgment trade-offs between features and speed-to-launch.About the teamThe Software and Networking organization is responsible for all of the software, services and infrastructure needed to securely and safely fly each Kuiper satellite, manage Kuiper's satellite constellation, control Kuiper's ground infrastructure and deliver highly available network services to our customers around the world.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Redmond, WA, USABasic Qualifications

7+ years of relevant experience in industry and/or academia.

7+ years product management and/or business leadership experience within a telecommunications or technology company

7+ years of proven track record of delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives while managing multiple competing priorities

A curious self-starter with a proven track record of diving into unknown territory, learning new concepts, and pushing your comfort zone.

The base pay for this position ranges from $144,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $281,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
