Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry based in Redmond, Washington. The role involves handling various accounting and finance responsibilities with a focus on general ledger, cash management, financial reporting, payroll, and accounts payable functions.Responsibilities: Take ownership of various accounting and finance responsibilities to complete tasks timely and accurately. Work on the general ledger, maintaining accuracy in all entries and balances. Manage cash resources effectively, including cash management and cash reconciliation processes. Oversee financial reporting tasks, including consolidated financial reporting and various forms of financial analysis. Lead the monthly financial close process, ensuring all entries and reconciliations are completed. Compile project cash-flow reports, providing timely and accurate information. Process accounts payable entries as needed, ensuring accurate and efficient processing. Perform annual forecasting and budgeting to align financial plans with business goals. Run payroll and coordinate with payroll processor on quarterly and annual payroll tax filings. Research business registration and filing requirements for entities in new states. Coordinate with external tax firms regarding federal and state tax filings.The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000.Benefits:M/D/VSimple IRA with 3% match2 weeks PTO52 hours sick time6 paid holidaysRequirements Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant in the Real Estate & Property industry. Extensive knowledge and practical experience with Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations. Proficiency in utilizing financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks. Demonstrated expertise in handling General Ledger and Journal Entries. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Month End Close procedures. Familiarity with Real Estate Accounting principles and regulations. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion. Professional certification such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
