Description We are in the market for a Staff Accountant to become a part of our team in the Real Estate & Property industry, located in Redmond, Washington. This role is pivotal in maintaining our financial records accurately, processing customer applications, and managing customer inquiries. Responsibilities: Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping. Manage cash flow and financial reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability. Assist in the monthly financial close process, ensuring all financial data is accounted for. Conduct bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. Handle accounts payable entries and processing as required, ensuring suppliers are paid on time. Perform consolidated financial reporting and various forms of financial analysis, providing insights to the management team. Help maintain and monitor project budgets, ensuring costs align with forecasts. Coordinate payroll and liaise with payroll processor on quarterly and annual payroll tax filings, ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Research business registration and filing requirements for entities in new states, ensuring legal compliance. Support the preparation of tax filings, including property tax and other applicable regulatory filings for real estate.The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000.Benefits:M/D/VSimple IRA with 3% match2 weeks PTO52 hours sick time6 paid holidaysRequirements Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Bank Reconciliations is necessary Knowledge of General Ledger management and Journal Entries is required Familiarity with Month End Close processes Proficiency in using accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP Experience in Real Estate Accounting is a strong advantage Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Must be detail-oriented and able to work with a high level of accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
