If, this sounds like you and the culture you would like to be part of, we invite you to apply to this role.Position Overview:Ideal Candidate will help in defining and integrating airplane electrical systems across our commercial fleet. All projects center on the translation of concepts and high-level requirements to specific architectures and operational specifications including the physical integration of electrical systems and components into our complex airplanes. Work with a worldwide supplier base to implement system hardware and software. Validate designs through both laboratory and airplane testing. Work with aircraft systems from initial concept through certification, delivery, and through their production life. We are continually evolving the state of the art in commercial air transport. This position will be assigned to work within Network and Digital Connectivity systems which includes but is not limited to Onboard Network Systems, Onboard Crew Wireless Connectivity, Ground Offboard Communication, Base Station E-Enabling, End-to-End Architecture testing and more.Position Responsibilities:

Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.

Designs hardware, software and interface specifications.

Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.

Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.

Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.

Work Authorization:The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.This position is required to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Renton, WA.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills / Experience):

2+ years of experience working in an electrical design engineering environment.

Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering degree.

Experience within Electrical Systems hardware and software design.

Familiarity with engineering processes and methods.

Knowledge of FAA certification.

Experience with system design and integration during an airplane development program.

Experience working with cross functional teams.

Demonstrated project management skills within a fast paced highly integrated environment.

Experience with Model Based Development tools.

Computer Networking

Typical Education / Experience:Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). Summary pay range: $85,850 – $116,150
