Description We are in search of a Project Accountant to join our team in the construction industry located in Renton, Washington, 98057, United States. As a Project Accountant, you will be instrumental in managing financial information for our project teams, ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounting data. This role involves frequent communication with different teams and a variety of clientele.Responsibilities: Undertake full cycle Accounts Receivable operations, managing due payments from clients Supervise full cycle of past dues, ensuring timely resolution Manage month-end accounting activities to ensure timely issue of financial statements Handle 170 active jobs, ensuring their successful financial execution Oversee change order requests, ensuring they are accurately incorporated into the ERP system Work closely with estimators on ongoing projects, providing financial insights where necessary Demonstrate understanding of project retention (currently at 5% in Washington) Ensure licensing requirements are met for all relevant projects Maintain regular communication via Teams for effective collaboration Navigate a wide variety of clientele, adapting to different financial procedures and requirements Utilize accounting software such as Teams, Lien releases, Adobe, and the Timble Spectrum ERP system for efficient data management Monitor and manage project accounting, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
