Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Airline Financial Analysis Specialist (level 4 or 5) to join our Marketing team in Renton, Washington .Work with airline and leasing company customers to develop business plans, including financial forecasts that meet US EXIM bank or commercial loan requirements to obtain airplane financing. As a key member of the sales and marketing team, perform airplane value analysis that financially quantifies and communicates the value of Boeing airplanes in support of sales and the business offer process. Serve as the technical expert to the sales and marketing team providing information on the financial aspects associated with an airline's operation, capital investment forecast, and strategy. Create creative and persuasive presentations that promote and differentiate Boeing products and services for internal and external audiences.Serve as a resource within Boeing, capable and proficient in all areas of financial analysis including: airplane ownership costs, cash flow, profitability, net present value, return on investment, industry financial health, financial statements, foreign exchange analysis, and lease vs. buy analysis. This position exercises considerable latitude in valuing our products relative to the competition and making aircraft price recommendations that reflect that value. Compiles and shapes analysis for executive management pricing, product strategy, and customer strategy presentations. Influences and consults with executive management in support of company decision making practices.Position Responsibilities:
Develop creative, persuasive presentations and value analyses that create a preference for Boeing products in support of sales campaigns
Confidently present comprehensive value stories to customers, industry forums, Boeing executive management and trade associations
Develop feasibility studies that demonstrate the financial benefits of Boeing airplanes in an airline's system and assist airlines in optimizing fleet plans
Continually seek new, innovative ways to present Boeing products and services favorably in the market to a variety of audiences including airlines, lessors, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MROs), media, and the financial community.
Create and maintain economic and financial methods and models that support the business function.
Work with airline customers to develop business plans, including financial forecasts that meet the Export Credit Agency (e.g US Ex-Im bank) or commercial loan requirements to obtain airplane financing
Serve as a resource within Boeing, capable and proficient in the areas of financial analysis including: airplane ownership costs, cash flow, net present value, internal rate of return, knowledge of industry financial health, hard currency analysis, and lease vs. buy analysis
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Renton, Washington.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience using with Microsoft Office Tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
5+ years of experience performing financial analysis
5+ years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing and analyzing data
5+ years of experience do have developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to train employees and customers on subject matter of expertise (financial analysis)
Experience with both Boeing and Airbus commercial airplanes
Airline experience
Experience in data mining (numerous sources) and generate conclusions
Experience with financial forecasting
