Senior Tax Accountant
Temporary Part time to Full-time Feb – Apr, may lead to parttime in the off season
Qualifications
3 years of federal and/or state income tax return preparation
A Bachelor’s degree focused in accounting, or an additional 2 years of related training/experience in lieu of
Proficiency with Lacerte Software, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Outlook email and Google Calendar.
Detail oriented, self-motivated, organized and able to work efficiently and accurately alone and under pressure to meet deadlines
Pay/Benefits
Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to relevant experience/level and skillset
Flex time, after tax bonus pay, Referral bonus, Two free personal tax returns
Training for next level accounting, investment and financial planning
Responsibilities
The Senior Tax Accountant acts as an expert counselor and preparer in federal and state income taxes
Works directly with existing client base to service and prepare Federal (and state here needed) tax returns
Provides guidance and support to ensure clients receive maximum service to reduce tax liabilities and the best customer service in the process
Assists clients through the entire process of filing including document collection and retention, packet assembly, collecting payment, emails and filing.
