JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Director is responsible for carrying out the goals of the department’s strategic plan, focused on the Family Assistance Programs, by managing the grants, reporting, budgets, staff, and delivery of services to tribal members. As the second in command, the Assistant Director will act on behalf of the Director in their absence and therefore must have a knowledge of the department programs, budgets, policies, procedures, and anything else required to ensure the continuity of programs and services. This position will have supervisory authority over some of the CFS Departmental Staff.
