JOB DESCRIPTION:
AIM Electric is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team remotely. As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in ensuring our projects stay within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Your expertise will help drive the success of our electrical projects from start to finish, all while working remotely with a talented team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Develop comprehensive electrical material take-offs (MTOs) and labor estimates.
Collaborate virtually with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to assess project requirements and pricing.
Analyze historical data to forecast pricing trends and project budgets.
Maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to obtain competitive pricing and terms.
Prepare and submit detailed proposals, change orders, and bid documents.
Track project costs and progress, ensuring alignment between estimates and actual expenditures.
Provide regular updates to management regarding estimate preparation and bid statuses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in electrical estimating or related field.
Proficiency in electrical estimating software.
In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, construction methods, and industry best practices.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate virtually across teams.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
A reliable internet connection and a self-driven, remote work ethic.
