Qualifications
At least 1+ years’ experience at the Leasing/Assistant Manager level or above within the property management industry; tax-credit experience required.
Working knowledge of principles and practices of property management record keeping with an understanding of resident ledger analysis.
Working knowledge of 3-day notice procedures and strong collections experience required.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft software such as Excel, Word and Outlook email and with Property Management Software; proficiency with the YARDI Software system is highly desirable but not required.
The ability to develop a sense of community amongst staff and residents.
Model adherence to federal and state Equal Employment and Equal/Fair Housing Opportunity requirements.
Strong ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, including excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
The ability to complete tasks thoroughly and accurately without constant supervision, and demonstrate positive leadership skills.
A current and valid Driver’s License.
A minimum of six months of apartment leasing experience
Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) experience preferred
Have dependable transportation to and from work
Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability
Enjoy working with others and taking direction when needed
Maintain a friendly and customer service oriented approach to co-workers and customers
