We are an online-based business working out of our garage in Kirkland but are in the process of looking for a warehouse. We have a strong vision for the future are passionate about everything we do and ultimately want to bring a little slice of joy to our customers' everyday lives.

Aroma Art is always buzzing with activity and can be a fast-paced environment. We're on the lookout for a super reliable hard worker who has a high attention to detail, is a team player, takes initiative, and can still share a laugh even when things get a little busy.
THE ROLE
Location: Kirkland WA
Needs to be able to drive to various farmers markets and events on the weekends
- 20-25hours per week
- Casual position to start, with strong potential to increase hours.
- Driver's license and own car preferable
JOB SUMMARY
The Production/Market Assistant plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of a warehouse facility. This position involves accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, ensuring proper packaging, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment. The individual in this role will collaborate with other warehouse team members to meet daily production goals and uphold high standards of quality and accuracy. Will be pouring, wicking, and labeling candles. Setting up booths at farmers markets and pop-ups, engaging with customers, and setting up displays.
Key Responsibilities
As a production/market assistant, your duties will include but not be limited to.
Packing:
-Safely and efficiently pack selected items into appropriate containers, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transportation.
-Label packages with necessary information, such as shipping labels and packing slips.
-Verify the accuracy of orders before finalizing the packing process.
-Meet KPIs (key performance indicators) set by management
Quality Control:
-Inspect products for any defects, damages, or discrepancies and report issues to supervisors.
-Ensure that all packed items meet quality standards and customer requirements.
Inventory Management:
-Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by updating stock levels and locations.
-Communicate with the team to report any discrepancies or shortages.
Organization:
-Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
-Refilling packing stations and restocking shelves with merchandise.
-Arrange products in an orderly manner to optimize space utilization.
Team Collaboration:
-Collaborate with other warehouse team members to achieve daily production targets.
-Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other departments as needed.
Equipment Operation:
-Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, safely and efficiently.
-Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the maintenance team.
Safety Compliance:
-Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
-Participate in regular safety training sessions.
Qualifications
-Previous experience in a warehouse or a fast-paced service industry job is preferred
-Ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects. This is essential.
