Small, family-owned and operated produce stand/grocer is looking for both a full time cashier and a produce stocker. The environment is fast-paced with a learning curve but specifically non-corporate and flexible. We will not ask you to give 110%, we will not ask for unpaid overtime, or for you to take your work home. We will ask you to show up on time, do your job, hopefully have some fun and then go home to live your life.
We are looking for someone who has full availability for 40-hours/week and is interested in a long-term commitment. Specifically, no students please. New grads are welcome. Experience not required, can teach as needed. Food handlers permit sought. Hours are between 8AM and 8PM, 8hr shifts. Closing shift availability desired but not required.
Position Duties:
Greeting and assisting customers
Operating the cash register
Rote memorization of product codes
Staying current on changing inventory/specials
Lifting boxes up to 60lbs on a daily basis
Stocking and maintaining produce displays
Bagging/boxing groceries
Light cleaning
