Hotel Front Desk Representative

The Inn At Lake Washington is a 116 room Hotel located directly across from Seattle Seahawks training center off of exit 7 (I-405) Renton. We are known for our quite, clean, affordable rooms and under new ownership are constantly raising the bar to provide a better experience for each customer.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Hotel Front Desk Representative to join our team. This role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome to ensure a positive first impression.

- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, including handling reservations and payments.

- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.

- Maintain accurate records of guest information and room availability using hotel management software.

- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately processed.

- Assist with luggage handling and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.

- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.

- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Skills

- Strong background in hotel management or hospitality is preferred.

- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.

- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.

- Experience with front desk operations, including night audit procedures.
