Do you love dogs, and have an aptitude for managing a busy front desk offering excellent Client Relations skills?
Scampers Daycamp for Dogs in Kirkland is looking for a Rock Solid Client Relations Specialist to manage our Front Desk for afternoon shifts. This could be a Full Time (11:30am to 7:30pm) or part time position (2pm to 7:30pm).
We are looking for someone with maturity, reliability, a can-do attitude, and quick-on-your-feet problem solving skills. Candidates should be out-going, possess a positive energy, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to demonstrate professionalism and poise during client interactions, and reflect Scampers voice, philosophy, and brand. You will be the second shift anchor for our client-facing environment, so reliability and punctuality are crucial. You need to have a rock-solid work ethic.
There is a lot to learn specific to this position, but we'll make sure you have all the information and training you need to feel confident enough in the job to ultimately be able to work independently.
You will be interacting with our clients during the busy afternoon pick-up rush, checking out clients, processing payments, and responding to queries in a knowledgeable and professional manner according to Scampers established policies and procedures. You will learn the Ins and Outs of our kennel management software such that you become a master. You will be conducting client Meet and Greet appointments with prospective clients to assess the suitability of their dogs for daycare. You will monitor our email In Box and respond to queries with professionalism and empathy. You will pursue vaccination data from dog owners and veterinary offices, and filing client paperwork. There will also be cleaning tasks throughout your shift to keep our lobby looking spic and span.
You will be the one who communicates with clients if their dog is struggling with behavioral challenges or has managed to get nipped or nicked during play. These are not difficult conversations to have when they are handled properly, because, as we all know, dog people are wonderful.
We welcome people of all backgrounds. We only ask that you treat the dogs and their owners with consideration, love, and kindness, that you expect to work hard, and assimilate into our team.
And, if you're available right away, you can start right away.
If this sounds like a career you'd like to pursue, send us your resume with a cover letter describing your availability, and why you'd be a good fit for Scampers.
