DESCRIPTION:
Off the Wall School of Music in Wallingford is looking for Piano, Voice, and Drum teachers. We provide training and materials to lean on if you don't have any and you don't need to be a virtuoso performer to be a great teacher. If you're great with kids, love teaching, and have a passion for music, please reach out!
If people would describe you as patient, kind and good with kids and you have a few of the qualities below, you might be a perfect fit:
Professionalism
Experience working with kids
Clear teaching materials and excellent communication skills (though we have many to lean on)
Vibrant, warm personality, and inspiring presence
Knowledge of various contemporary and traditional styles, with reading skills
Ability to teach beginner through intermediate students, ages 6 and up
Previous teaching experience
SCHEDULING:
Our available lesson hours are listed below, but we start new teachers with 1-2 days per week and increase their schedule as needed if it's a good fit:
Weekdays: 2pm-9pm
Saturday: 9am-5pm
Sunday: 10am-6pm
Additional teaching opportunities are available during our music summer camps, which run in the mornings Monday through Friday as well as non-teaching responsibilities.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
$35-40/hr based on experience, teaching materials, and professionalism
