Job Description
We have a variety of part and full time positions available at our Uptown location, working with groups of children ranging from birth to 9 years. P/T shifts are eithrr 12p-6:15p or 3p-6:15p.
We're looking for candidates who have experience working in a center-based setting, who are warm, nurturing, and pay keen attention to detail.
Duties
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of a child-centered, play-based curriculum, potentially including weekly lesson plans
- Work collaboratively with classroom teaching team as well as with other staff
- Communicate with families on a casual daily basis, as well as more formally through conference- s
- Maintain an engaging and developmentally appropriate environment
- Follow all state and local health department and licensing laws
- Keep up with required paperwork
- Perform routine cleaning tasks
- Diaper changing and potty training
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Proof of MMR & COVID-19 vaccinations
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Excellent verbal and written English (bilingual a plus!)
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray
- Willingness to complete all required online and in-person trainings in a timely manner
- Experience working in a child care center setting
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, bend, stoop, spend significant time standing and walking, sit on the floor, climb stairs, and be generally active

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.70.-$21.50 per hour
