Are you an artist with a knack for making people laugh? Do you love sharing your passion for art in a fun, lively atmosphere? Connect the Hops is looking for an Art Teacher to lead our popular craft beer paint and sip events!
This isn't your average art class. We host vibrant, social painting experiences at various breweries, where guests enjoy craft beer samples while unleashing their inner artist. We need an instructor who can not only guide them through a painting but also entertain and engage them throughout the process.

Here's what we're looking for:
Demonstrated Artistic Talent:
You'll need a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in traditional media (acrylics, oils, watercolors, etc.). Portfolio must include samples of sketches, linework/underpainting, and final paintings. You will be creating paintings once a month from a provided art brief that will be taught at the events.
A Personality That Shines:
We need someone outgoing, funny, and genuinely engaging! You'll be the life of the party, creating a welcoming and entertaining environment for our guests.
Teaching Prowess:
You must be able to teach painting techniques clearly and patiently to a diverse group of skill levels.
Reliable & Responsible:
Punctuality and professionalism are key. You'll be responsible for setting up, teaching, and tearing down events efficiently.
Mobile & Prepared:
You'll need your own reliable car and be willing to travel to different locations within the area. You'll also be responsible for carrying your own supplies (which we'll provide!). Event area includes Enumclaw, Black Diamond, Maple Valley, Issaquah, Snoqualmie Ridge, North Bend, and Carnation.
The Details:
Pay: $30 per hour. Hourly rate includes travel costs. This is a part-time contract position, you will be a 1099 Independent Contractor
Event Length: Events are typically 2
hours long, with an additional 30 minutes allocated for set-up and tear-down.
Event Days & Times: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7pm - 9pm. All days are not guaranteed, this depends on class schedule.
