Our nature based preschool and pre-k offers an AM session, five days a week.
For young learners, the natural world is a vast, and open-ended learning space. The sights, scents, sounds, and textures of the outdoors will appeal to a child’s inquisitive mind. Nature also offers an endless opportunity for creativity, problem-solving, discovery, and STEM education. Our outdoor classroom holds three apple trees, a pear tree, a fig tree, and a cherry tree. A greenhouse that allows us to plant and harvest fruits and vegetables all year long. Blueberry bushes, lavender, grapevines, a pumpkin patch and a multitude of other flowering and herbaceous plants
We operate as a preschool, not a childcare.
All students arrive and leave at the same time.
Our school schedule and breaks are that of local elementary school.
Students begin with us in September, and finish in June. We don't enroll throughout the year. No drop in care.
Responsibilities of Teacher Aide:
Welcome students and help with cooperative play
Help prep materials for upcoming curriculum and events
Classroom set up and light cleaning
Assist with snacks and free play
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
Schedule:
4 hour shift
Monday to Friday
No weekends
