We are seeking an individual who will…
Be responsible to create schedules in all divisions that support the mission and core values of the school, effectively utilizes resources, and can be maintained in a predictable and supportive way.
Maintain all student records and student information in an orderly, secure and accessible manner.
Plan, organize, and implement the school’s Jan Term Program in alignment with the mission and strategy of the school.
Manage student information systems including Veracross and standardized testing processes, data, and materials.
Essential Duties – detail of duties
Manage K-12 Student Records
o Process, print and distribute quarterly progress reports and semester report cards.
o Post semester grades to transcripts.
o Update credits earned each semester.
o Audit format of report cards and transcripts, calculation of grades, course setup, pass/fail grades, etc.
o Confirm transcript accuracy.
o Track, prepare and /or send copies of records and transcripts when requested by parents, students, other schools, etc.
o Prepare end of year Honor Rolls and awards.
o Official academic information gatekeeper (catalog process, etc.)
Manage K-12 Scheduling
o Prepare a master schedule and class schedules each semester for teachers and students K-12.
o Update schedules to reflect changes, modifications, rescheduling, etc.
o Work with students on course changes, adding courses, and/or dropping courses.
o Collect new student information (transcripts, test scores, etc.), transfer credits for new students, document waivers/exceptions.
Manage K-12 Academic Testing and Test Analysis
o Manage student academic testing and assemble and analyze data to assess curriculum and instruction and recommend programmatic enhancements.
Manage Information Systems
o Provide support and direction to faculty and staff in using Information Systems.
Manage Bear Creek Big Data / Database
o Ownership, management and oversight of Bear Creek School Database (Veracross) and Information Systems.

Required Experience and Education.
A Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience with complex scheduling in an upper or high school setting.
Experience working with a student information system including grade reporting functions and scheduling.
Proficient technology skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and ability to work with a complex scheduling program as well as learning to work with the school’s integrated data-based software.
Currently held CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (with Epinephrine Auto Injector supplement included), or arrangements made to obtain certification within 90 days of employment start date.

Able to do filing in low cabinets.
May work at a desk and computer for extended periods of time.

Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
Work in a traditional climate-controlled office environment with occasional visits between campus buildings, requiring exposure throughout the day to the outside elements.
